Band Bio

White Rabbit is an eclectic group of veteran musicians who don't remember the 60's because they were there.

Keyboardist and vocalist Mike Losekamp played with 'The Cyrkle', managed by Beatles manager Brian Epstein.  Their hits included 'Red Rubber Ball' and 'Turn Down Day'.  The band opened for the Beatles during their last U.S. tour!  Mike was also a member of the immensely popular Dayton recording bands, 'Green Lyte Sunday' and 'The Mark V'.

Larry Vest was the bass player and vocalist for one of Dayton's best jazz bands, 'Giant', and also 'Higher Ground'.  More recently he was in 'Timer' along with vocalist and guitarist Toni Vest  and Losekamp.   Toni and Mike L. also previously played with 'Pink Flamingo' (Columbus).

Drummer Gary Marcum has played with The Lovers, The Visionaries, Norman Dee & The Beachheads and The Stumps.  He would walk over broken glass to watch Vik Foxx play the drums.  He also plays bass.

Guitarist Mike Baumann has played with several area bands, including a local 70's favorite, 'Gandalf'.  He played for a year in the Chicago area with Dave Bickler who went on to be the lead singer for 'Survivor'.  Mike has even played electric guitar with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra.

Given all of these backgrounds, White Rabbit's set list is diverse, ranging from blues (Stevie Ray Vaughan, Eric Clapton) to vintage rock (Jefferson Airplane, Fleetwood Mac) to today's hits (Maroon 5, Sheryl Crow) with a generous helping of tunes by harder-to-classify bands such as Steely Dan.

No matter your musical tastes, White Rabbit has plenty for you to enjoy!
